    Honora Winery & Vineyard began in 1994 stemming from a passion for wine and the wine making process and is a family owned and operated company. The first focus was to build the estate on the 200 acre farm in West Halifax, VT and then to focus on the vineyard. When the house was near completion, fields were prepped, vines were planted and the winery was set up with all of the latest equipment. Currently there are approximately 20,000 cold weather hardy vines and vinifera planted on 12 acres with plans to add more over the next few seasons. In the summer of 2006 we were proud to unveil our first releases and look forward to new additions every year.
